Meeting Commercial Clients on Their Terms
Each commercial client is unique, but there are generally four ways they may choose to communicate with their bank: directly with their banker, over self-service digital channels, by providing data files to the bank or via application programming interfaces. APIs allow clients to connect their business management software to their bank, but they also require adequate infrastructure to work properly. Nathan Baumeister, CEO and cofounder of ZSuite Technologies, says it’s incumbent upon banks to ensure their technology providers can support all four modes of communication.
