Michelle Hickox is executive vice president and CFO at First Financial Bankshares, Inc. Her experience in banking includes financial planning, SEC reporting, audit and accounting as well as the strategic analysis and financial integration of acquired institutions. She is heavily involved in the bank’s investor relations efforts, working closely with institutional investors, investment banks and analysts.
Prior to joining FFB, Ms. Hickox held a similar position with another public regional Texas bank. She led the finance team on more than 10 acquisitions of other financial institutions. Prior to her banking career, Ms. Hickox was an audit partner with RSM US, LLP, where she was a designated financial institution specialist.
Ms. Hickox is a member of the AICPA and Texas Society of CPAs.

Elise Walton is a principal at Pearl Meyer, where she is focused on leadership, governance and organization effectiveness.
Prior to Pearl Meyer, Ms. Walton was the founder and executive director of Board Compass, a consulting and advisory firm serving boards and CEOs. Recent projects include work on board assessment, governance and organization design, CEO evaluation and succession planning, culture assessment and executive leadership development, in both the public and not for profit sectors.
Ms. Walton has worked extensively at the senior most levels in the financial sector, including in-depth assignments with AXA-Equitable, Merrill Lynch, SEIC, Cambridge Associates and the Hartford. She also led the Mercer team working for the Fannie Mae Board to address issues raised in the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight (OFHEO) special examination report of September 2004.
